Beautiful Woman

This is a poem from my book Between The Trees and it's one of my personal favorites.

Beautiful Woman

A beautiful woman whose eyes are enduring
Lips are soft to the touch, alluring
Smile so bright, voice is soulful
A melodic composition, graceful and noble

Her body in tune with nature’s harmony
So strong, so delicate, moving so calmly
Like the wind of a summer’s breeze
With a grounded sense of ease

Fleet of foot with feet so elegant
Speech so right, so fluid, so eloquent
Stance is regal, even majestic
An aura no other living creature can contest it

Yet and still, she’s ever so modest
Never too proud, and that is the hardest
Emotion to quench when you know it is so
But that is what makes woman so beautiful
